The SORT Team at the Arapahoe County Jail goes through intense training once a month. SORT stands for Special Operations Response Team. It's a rapid-response unit comprised of a specialized group of deputies who handle high-risk situations within the jail. There are currently 30 members on our SORT Team, including two women.
